Leigh was ordered to stay home, stay with Nichole but Chase's secrets tore her apart. She had to find out why he forbad her from going into the forest, why he left her. After sneaking out, she found out why it was so dangerous. This short story, that was origanlly the prologue to a longer novel, has seen so many revisions and I believe that it is my best piece of work. Until I find a use for this, it is a stand alone story.

Natalie Dawson has just moved to New York for the beginning of her Junior year.
