I haven't blogged in six days! What am I going to do with myself? Well, I'm here this morning to tell you that I am still alive :] There's a problem where I'm was addicted to The Sims 2 for very lengthy times... It's bad. I decided to check inkpop and my blog before I started up the game. ha ha
Actually, I can't play my sims game today. I must go shopping! You see, I leave for drum major/color guard camp tomorrow morning and I'm really behind on packing. Mainly because I have nothing to pack. Today will be all about buying sports bras and sunscreen and washing socks. This doesn't mean that I'm lethargic about camp, no, I'm in fact really excited! I've never been more excited for anything. This camp is one for the best of the best and I'm really looking forward to working with a complete band of people who want to do drill and are at a much higher skill level. I'll get the chance to learn knew things and have a great time doing it. I'm allowed to bring a laptop but I'm not sure if I will. All depends. If I do, I'll try to post about my days there. SO pumped!
Funny story about getting ready for camp: I lost my rifle gloves. Yeah. I think they're in the pocket of my army jumpsuit from the show last fall. I was in my uniform for the whole day for both Ford Field then the playoff football game and I must have put them in there. Well, I was cleaning out the color guard room, putting things into boxes to be moved to the new school, and I placed all of the uniforms from last year in a box. I scribbled color guard room on the side and shipped it off. I thought that all boxes for the band room would go to the band barn where we keep all the props but only the small boxes went. The big boxes are on the truck. I searched for an hour after practice on Thursday looking for these gloves and finally settled from some ancient pair from the guard about twenty years ago. They're gross and sticky but my hands will not be bruised all the way around, palm to backhand.
Not only do I have camp getting me back into the color guard swing but my team had their first practice of the season not yesterday but the day before. It was a blast working with the new coach, he has a lot of fantastic ideas and a great attitude about working with us. The show is an amazing concept and sounds like a lot of fun. Just imagine what you could do with route 66 for a marching band... I can't tell you much about it until at least our first show but I can tell you that it is just incredible how well this is coming together. I'm really excited for the season but I always am so that doesn't mean much. Can't wait to keep working on this and hopefully it will be a great season. Ford Field here we come!
On a not color guard/marching band note, yesterday was my little sister's first date! Yeah, the fourth child and still has a date before the rest of us. Wonderful! Anyway, we totally had a Cheaper by the Dozen 2 moment. I was doing her hair all nice a sleek, makeup was fun (I had to explain to her that foundation was not makeup remover...), and I even picked out a cute outfit for her and did her nails. She looked so pretty! I was not happy, however, that no one told me that the North End was hosting Cruise Night (a moving car show for everyone in the area) and the entire one street was backed up! I was stuck behind a clown car with a musical horn screaming, "SAVE ME!" I wanted to run people over but the cops were sitting in the turning lanes. In all seriousness, I had to call my best friend and told him if he didn't keep me calm, I was gonna start road rage with the monster truck in front of me. Never in my life have I seen so much traffic. What is normally a half hour drive took me an hour and twenty minutes plus a quarter tank of gas. Splendid! Let me tell you, I enjoyed that sooo much.
Well, that's all I have for now. I have to start getting ready for camp. If packing is anything like finding my rifle gloves, I have my work cut out for me and I'll be sleeping on my way to Mount Pleasant tomorrow.

Happy 4th of July!
Happy birthday America! 231 years today. You've come such a long way over this short amount of time.
Hope everyone had a fantastic time with their barbeques and fireworks, I know I did. My friends and I all went down to the river (Chemical Valley haha) and hung out there for a good seven hours. We had a fabulous spot right in front of the fireworks boat and got out in less than ten minutes after. Champs :] It was a great day for sure.

Yee!
I just added two *new* pages to my blog, The Stories and Forget Me Never! Oh, they look great! So cute :]
The Stories is a page dedicated to my stories where I'll post all the stuff about my latest stories. So far I have two up, Forget Me Never and Forest of Secrets. There's pitches, cover art, and links to the stories on this page.
Forget Me Never is the page that revolves completely about this story. It has all the same things that the other page has and more. There are pitches, cover art, links (if there were any), the story of how this story came to be, the book soundtrack, and much more!
Enjoy these pages :]

Bad Day
You know, today started out pretty shitty not gonna lie. I woke up with an angry mother and did the dishes at least five times in an hour. My sister frustrates me because she can't keep anything clean for more than ten minutes and she's just so irritating. Then Dad comes home and well, isn't that always a blast? Anyway, between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. I got yelled at, was tortured, lost hope and a freshman, and had to do more dishes than we own.
All was good in the end though because one good thing happened like five minutes ago. I think that that's why I still think that something about life is worth it. Cause of those one good things. It doesn't make up for all the crap but it sure does make you feel good for long enough.

Updates!
Mwah haha! Guess who finished the first of the two ending chapters! ME! That's right! Part one of the ending to part one has been finished and I'd like to say that it is nothing short of epic.
I will tell you that in this scene I was creeped out, scared for Natalie's life, in pain, and left in suspense and I wrote it! If the author gets chills from it, that must mean it's at least okay, right?
Personally, I don't think the end of part one will disappoint at all.

Ahhh!
You know how some people write to get rid of stress or frustration? To make everything go away? I wish that I could do that. It would make getting away from a problem so much easier, no? Personally, I have to write with a clear mind; no problems, no worries, no frustrations.
Writing is supposed to be that pace where you can escape to a new place like the teachers told you about reading in elementary school. Writing is supposed to free your mind and be your escape. I want to just dive into a story and make all my problems disappear. Let's hope that one day, I can make that happen. It would be the most precious talent.

Hauntingly Beautiful
That describes the song Jar of Hearts by Christina Perri. I heard this piece on So You Think You Can Dance as the music to a contemporary routine for Billy and Katherine. I loved it so much and actually it made me think of a scene in my story and I'm adding it to the soundtrack for Forget Me Never. I don't want to give away the scene because it's in part two so I'll just keep hush hush on that.
Here's the song! Enjoy :]

Epic Eclipse
Yesterday was opening day for the third installment in the Twilight Saga movies: The Twilight Saga Eclipse. This was my favorite of all four books so I held high expectations for this movie; Summit delievered.

I went with my crazy twihard friends who weren't drastically dressed up like most. I was put at the opposite end from my friend Hoffman due to our obbsessive Jacob fandom. I didn't understand it cause we annoyed them more shouting across them to each other. haha
Something I wished I had done was go on opening day because apparently a guy got tazed because he threatened to bomb the theatre and blow up the Twilight fans. haha People are awesome.
Taylor was yet again amazing in his performance as expected. His character was hysterical in the third book and even more hallarious in the movie. Even though the movie was epic and dark there were a lot more moments for laughter than in the past two movies.
Rob was more believable in this film in my opinion. His anger towards Jake was insane, especially after Jake kissed Bella. I also had a higher respect for him after watching Remember Me so maybe that influenced me a bit.
Bryce, in my opinion made a better Victoria. Just saying. I think it's because she looks younger, she looked creepier and sounded creepier.
The scenes that were long awaited for lived up to expectations: The kiss scene between Jake and Bella the first time. Jake seemed very needy and pushy and just that punch was amazing. The tent scene: hysterical! My only complaint was that they didn't have anything about the space heater. *Pouts* The flashbacks: simply incredible work. Very authentic and let me just say Rose's 'theatricality' as she puts it in the movie and a nice touch to scaring Royce out of his pants. haha
So if you haven't gathered by now, I really enjoyed this movie more than I can say. Eclipse lived up to my expectations and I will be first in line for the DVD.

Commercials
Don't underestimate those things! They'll sneak up after a suspenseful part of an episode and bite you! I was watching Pretty Little Liars tonight (by the way it was amazing) and a commercial for Pizza Hut came on and I was like, "Yum, that sounds amazing! Doesn't it Danielle?" My sister and I ended up buying pizza an hour later. It tasted so great and I'm gonna need to work it off like crazy tomorrow! haha
